Piano Trends and Blue Piano on ABC 7 TV in Chicago


The Piano Trends Blue Piano taped Chicagoing with Bill Campbell Thursday August 19th. The show is set to air in October. The show featured the Blue Piano and was performed on by artists Danny Wright and Emily Bear between interviews with Bill Campbell. The show is promoting the Raue Center concert of Danny and Emily. Piano Trends owner Tim Paul discussed the history of the Blue Piano with Bill and Danny during one segment. pictured L-R Danny, Bill, Emily, Blue and Tim. Dean Malsack Sightings

Watch Dean play Santa Baby during our annual Customer Appreciation Christmas Party. Dean appears regularly at Piano Trends and around Chicago.

Dean also appeared on behalf of Piano Trends during the Chicago Gift Show in January where Piano Trends provides the entertainment for more than 3500 attendees. Here Dean instroduces his backup group "The Invisible Scat Singers and Dean also works the crowd with the Dancing Chefs. Keep an eye out for his next appearances.

The Raue Center for the Arts on Valentine's weekend 2010 was the site of the Joan Hammel and Dean Malsack Concert. Visit Piano Trends Television for clips of the show. A Romantic evening of song and dance was provided by this entertaining duo. Below is a sample of the evening with Joan Singing

Emily Bear and Danny Wright


Emily Bear performed in concert with Danny Wright at the Raue Center and both artists played to standing ovations. Nine year old Emily has appeared at the White House and on Ellen several times as well as playing on Dancing With The Stars this November. Danny with more than 5 million albums sold followed his Raue appearance with a trip to perform in the Caribbean to promote his new recording. Danny also made an appearance at Piano Trends before the concert and was greeted by an enthusiastic crowd. Emily and Danny played on the Famous Twin Blue Grand pianos of Piano Trends. 10/9/09 Danny Wright Appearance at Piano Trends & Raue Center

It was a great weekend with a new friend and we will just let the videos speak for themselves. 10/2/09 Louis Landon Concert


played to rave reviews at the Raue Center for the Arts in October of 2009. Louis (pictured above in rehearsal) Sang Songs, Played Songs, and told stories to a very enthusiastic audience at Lucy's Cafe. Piano Trends was proud to sponsor another fine event at the Raue. Louis performed the following day with pianist Joe Bongiorno at Piano Trends. Video clips from both the concert and his Piano Trends Showroom appearance are below. It was a hot lazy July summer afternoon and the Cubs went into first place for the last time in 2009 as the Blue Ridge Strangers played an outdoor show in front of the Piano Trends Showroom. performing Jambalaya performing I fought the Law and The Law Won

Former Trender and store manager Amy Nelson Visits


Amy Nelson was manager and trumpet instructor for Piano Trends Music Company up until 1998 when she moved on to another stage in her career. This November She stopped in for a surprise visit to talk about old times. Amy has gone on to be a principal Trumpet performer on Broadway and is in the middle of a tour with Fiddler and the Roof. Thanks for stopping in Amy. I think your hair was longer back then.

Unique Piano on Display at Holiday Inn Show

This Baldwin Acrosonic is one of the most unusual finds we have come across in many years. this piano was on display for a show at the Holiday Inn in Crystal Lake Watch the video to see how unique this piano really is.

Piano Trends discovered new products at this year's NAMM Trade Show in Anaheim California. We also took in some good music acts. Check below...We will add as they become available. Musicians of the Mart

	The musicians of Piano Trends donated their time and talents to help raise money for several Charities including the Respiratory Health Association of Metropolitan Chicago and the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestras. Piano Trends Music donated the use of 5 Grand Pianos including the two famous twin blue grand pianos for the event. The annual event is called the Chill and in addition to the entertainment the event is one of the largest wine and culinary events in Chicago each year. The Chill is held at Chicago's Merchandise Mart every year in November. Pictured are the performers Tony Zirfas, Evan Swanson, David Radford, Joan Hammel, Kathy Fry, Todd Greene, Bobbi Paul, Tim Paul, Dean Malsack and Mike Potts.
